One aspect that was quite disturbing i the on-going champions trophy is the countrywide thinking and prayers that were offerred by the cricket crazy fans for Pakistan to win over australia and India to trounce West Indies by a comfortable margin so as to reach the semi finals and be there so that the T V channels can make their advertisement money and the cricket crazy crowd in India and Pakistan and elsewhere can leave all their day-to-day jobs and responsibilities and sit in front of the idiot box and while away their time!
